Hey folks, it’s been a while since my last post. Sorry for that and I hope other future post come to you quicker than this one!
How is your summer by the way? Still enjoying sun, sea and sand or are you in a place on the globe where rather rainy clouds are hiding the sun?
Anyway where ever you are, you might want to escape a few days from your daily routine and see and experience unknown ground. Alicante’s coast has a variety of precious sights and spots which need to be discovered. Here I got a plan for you:
Have you thought about a Segway tour in the morning along Alicante’s Esplanade and port with a delicious breakfast on the way? What a fun idea to start your day!
If you have a more ambitious personality, grab a bike (electro bike or mountain bike) and explore the coast or near mountains in the back country of Alicante.
Take a stroll around the city of Alicante with a guided walking tour and learn a lot about Alicante’s ancient times and culture.
Sign in for a winery tour in Alicante’s region and taste some delicious wine in an authentic scenery.
Why not pop over on a speed boat to Ibiza and Formentera for a day trip and swim in the turquoise Mediterranean and relax on picturesque beaches?
Whatever your plan is, I’m sure Tortuga Tours can provide the perfect day for you and your loved ones. Lots of fun is waiting for you on the beautiful Costa Blanca. What are you waiting for?
Enjoy your perfect holiday!
Many times I’ve visited Guadalest, the tiny medieval, laid back and touristy village up in the mountains near Sierra Aitana. The view to the dam and the near mountains takes your breath when you arrive to the top of the village.
The narrow streets host many souvenir stores and some talented artists sell their works of art in their atelier.
I found it particular surprising how many “museums” there are in Guadalest. I never visited them so far because their exhibits don’t convince me to pay for. I might miss a thing though but I chuckled when I read the translation in English, German and French! 😉
Is there a smile on your face, too?
Have a great day today!
Have you ever thought to brush up your Spanish skills or learn other foreign languages in Centro Superior de Idiomas at Alicante University in summer 2014?
Live and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere at Gisela’s Olive Garden, a full equipped three bedroom house with a spacious garden, pool, jacuzzi, close to the beach and the convenience of the lively city of Alicante nearby. Immerse into the Spanish lifestyle!
Some of you love them, some of you despise them. Skyscrapers have always been an issue to controversy and a lot has been said, thought and written about them. These two examples here on my blog captured on Playa San Juan, Alicante are types of buildings which you easily can spot on Costa Blanca.
The other wonderful day I walked along the beach like many other Alicantinos enjoying the sun and the nice spring temperatures. People come here often to stroll along the beach, look at the sea, do their daily exercises, have a coffee, enjoying Agua de Valencia, have a chat…
I’ve seen the skyscrapers many times before but that day the light and moment was just perfect to get them digitalized. I like the colours and perspective of the pictures the most.
Simple. Straightforward. Sober.
I guess the view from their balconies over Playa San Juan and the Mediterranean must be fantastic!
I’m sure my blogger friend Jordana of White Cabana likes the pictures, too. They’re all white!
stardustAlicante wishes you a happy weekend! Be happy!
